C100 Leadership Summit in San Francisco

On April 25-26,2014, The Committee of 100 held its 23rd Annual Common Ground Conference in tandem with a Leadership Summit at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco. Project Pengyou is excited to have acted as a promotional partner for and participant in this conference. This year, Holy Chang, Executive Director at Project Pengyou and President of The Golden Bridges Foundation, was able to take part in both the conference and leadership summit, where topics such as Digital Consumerism in China, and Asians in Silicon Valley were covered. The Committee of 100 “Common Ground” Conferences serve as the premier forum to address key issues impacting U.S.-China relations and the Chinese American community. Inaugurated in 1991, the annual conference features roundtables that convene renowned thought leaders in academia, the arts, business, government, science, and technology.

This year’s conference and leadership summit two day event featured speeches by high profile leaders including  Jianhai Lin of the IMF; Joseph Stiglitz, Professor of Economics and Nobel Laureate; Edwin Lee, Mayor of San Francisco; and Gideon Yu, of the 49er’s, among others.

The Golden Bridges Foundation is excited to have participated and promoted this event in partnership with the Committee of 100, and looks forward to working with the group in the future.
