During Chinese New Year, Project Pengyou Campus Chapters on both high school and college campuses across America celebrated and shared the Project Pengyou mission by organizing ways for members to “pay it forward” in their community. In one instance, Harvard University Chapter members visited and spoke at a local school about opportunities and the benefits of study abroad in China. In another, Grinnell University Chapter members visited a nursing home and taught the residents how to write “pengyou” in Chinese.
