From January 27th to February 2nd, Project Pengyou Chapters across the nation celebrated Chinese New Year by Paying-it-Forward (PIFOCNY for short) and adopting a school in their community. By inspiring kids to learn about China from a young age, we hope they will grow up and become global citizens who appreciate other cultures. The goal of PIFOCNY is building a foundation for the next generation to approach not just US-China relations, but anyone who is different from them, with empathy and respect.
