On Monday, June 9th, The Golden Bridges Foundation President Holly Chang gave a talk on philanthropy in China for an NYU Center for Global Affairs (CGA) graduate student group. The speech covered topics such as the background of the Golden Bridges Foundation and Project Pengyou, and gave context to doing philanthropic work in China. Holly presented the “5 Buckets of Philanthropy”, a model designed to explain the backbone of the nonprofit sector in China.
Students who attended the event are currently on a tour through China, during which they have met with leaders in both the public and private sector. As a strong supporter of educational exchange, The Golden Bridges Foundation was happy to host this group of young leaders during their time in Beijing.
