On July 21, Project Pengyou team visited a group of high school students participating in Americans Promoting Study Abroad at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunication to introduce our organization and participate in a dumpling making activity. The group was composed of students from various cities across the United States and Britain who have shown an early interest in learning Chinese, as well as the importance of China-US relations.
Golden Bridges executive director Alyssa Farrelly gave a presentation to the group about Golden Bridges, Project Pengyou, and how high school aged students can get involved, such as participating in the Project Pengyou Leadership Training or starting a Campus Chapter. The students also heard from Golden Bridges interns on the their interning experience.
