On June 4-5, 2017 Project Pengyou held its annual Chapter Reunion & Leadership Retreat. This year’s event was hosted by the Project Pengyou American University Chapter in Washington, DC. After each Chapter gave individual presentations based on their strengths, they talked as a group about how to improve together to create a positive impact on campus. At the end of Day One, each chapters’ hard work and dedication was recognized at a Pengyou Cup Award Ceremony, where 5 outstanding chapters received special honors.
On Day Two of the Retreat, they all headed to the State Department to receive a briefing on the current state of affairs in US-China relations and participate in a diplomatic simulation.
