Golden Bridges Leads Young Delegation to Attend Committee of 100 Conference in Beijing

October 31, 2013

On October 31, 2013, as part of our efforts for Project Pengyou, we led a delegation of alumni from various study abroad programs to the Committee of 100 5th Greater China Conference in Beijing.

Our delegation included representatives from Hopkins—Nanjing Center-SAIS China, Teach for China, the Inter-University Program at Tsinghua University, the Fulbright Scholarship Program, CIEE, and the Critical Language Scholarship program.

The Committee of 100 is a leadership organization of prominent Chinese Americans in business, government, academia, and the arts. For over 20 years, the Committee has served as a substantive bridge in the U.S.-China dialogue by fostering regular exchanges with the leadership of Beijing, Taipei, and Washington. Members of the Committee of 100 are leading U.S. citizens of Chinese descent who leverage their collective influence, resources and experiences to address important issues affecting U.S.-China relations as well as significant concerns of the Chinese American community.

The Conference featured many high level speakers and experts in the field discussing Philanthropy in China, US-China Strategic Trust, Cross-Border Investment, and China’s Environmental Sustainability. We would like to thank the Committee of 100 for hosting the conference and for sponsoring this opportunity!
